Pet Dealers

  • A. 400 Limits the retail sale of birds who are not weaned.

  • A. 420/S. 1673 Requires pet dealers to provide fire protection measures.

  • A. 1649 Changes definition of pet dealer to include more breeders within scope of the pet dealer laws which include animal care and other requirements.

  • A. 4058-A Prohibits pet dealers from leasing and financing the sale or adoption of dogs, cats, and rabbits online.

  • S. 1565 Requires pet dealers to provide additional breeder and health information to purchasers.
